Meet Todd Sheeley

Greetings! I'm Todd Sheeley (He/Him) and owner of Inclusicare Therapy. I’m a gay man living in Loveland, CO, though I originally hail from Fayetteville, NC. My journey led me to Colorado seven years ago, driven by a quest for personal healing and self-discovery. During this time, I also pursued a Master's in Counseling and Career Development at Colorado State University. Post-graduation, I devoted myself to supporting high school students facing a diverse array of challenges in Adams 12 Five Star Schools and Westminster Public Schools. These challenges ranged from anxiety, depression, ADHD, and social-emotional disabilities to LGBTQIA+ issues, family conflicts, trauma, academic hurdles, and post-secondary preparedness.

While living in Loveland, I recognized the limited number of safe and inclusive mental health services available to the LGBTQIA+ community and as a result, left school counseling to create Inclusicare to provide such services to my fellow community. As an openly gay and multicultural-oriented therapist, I am here to provide those of marginalized identities a safe space to talk, work through their struggles, and ultimately reach a sense of mental wellness.

My Story and Why

Yep. That’s gay, neurodivergent, little me. As a child, I navigated a challenging and multifaceted journey. Struggling with ADHD, anxiety, and the complexities of my own identity as a gay individual, I encountered numerous hurdles that shaped my perspective and fueled my determination. Alongside these challenges, I also faced the profound impact of traumatic experiences. These formative years were marked by a deep sense of empathy and resilience, as I learned to confront and ultimately conquer the obstacles life presented.

These early experiences were instrumental in my decision to become a therapist. I recognized the critical need for supportive guidance during these pivotal stages of life, where personal discovery and self-acceptance often intersect with adversity. My own journey instilled in me a profound sense of purpose—to be the advocate, mentor, and ally that I wished I'd had during my formative years. Today, as a therapist, I'm dedicated to helping youth and adults navigate their unique challenges, offering them the support and understanding they need to embrace their true selves, overcome adversity, and build a brighter future.
